Doctor of Nursing Practice (Online)
Seton Hall's practice-focused Doctor of Nursing Education (D.N.P) program is designed to equip nurses with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and provide care at the highest levels of their discipline.
As D.N.P. candidates, our students develop clinical, organizational, economic, and leadership skills to transform healthcare delivery and outcomes. Whether you are a post-M.S.N. or post-B.S.N. student, our online D.N.P. program is open to all.
With a D.N.P. degree, you will be well-prepared for advanced practice roles such as nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist, nurse midwife, or to hold administrative and leadership positions in healthcare organizations.
We understand the importance of offering nursing doctoral degrees that meet the needs of today's healthcare industry. Our D.N.P. program focuses on preparing nurses to excel in their careers and make a significant impact on patient care and outcomes.
The Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Seton Hall University is widely known for its impactful scholarly projects that have gained recognition in various health and academic settings. One of the notable projects was the development of the COPD Care Bundle, which is now being used by the Atlantic Health System. Another initiative aimed at improving prenatal care communications for women at Covenant House. The program offers students ongoing mentorship, which helps them enhance their skills in both nursing practice programs and nursing education.
