B.S.+ J.D. Diplomacy and Juris Doctorate
Seton Hall University offers a unique dual degree program for students to pursue an undergraduate degree in Diplomacy & International Relations and a Juris Doctorate through the Seton Hall University School of Law. This exciting six-year (3+3) dual degree program prepares students to excel, while establishing a foundation and education in a global perspective.
This program will allow students to earn two degrees in a streamlined sequence that saves time and money, allowing you to graduate with an edge from one of the nation's leading law schools.
Opportunities
Students will earn their law degree after enrolling as an undergraduate in the School of Diplomacy and International Relations. This innovative program offers a cutting-edge curriculum focused on international relations, economics, history, ethics and mastering a foreign language. Close ties to the United Nations community give students unprecedented access to UN professionals. Student also have extensive opportunities to intern at places such as the United Nations, the Secret Service, for the World Food program and for Supreme Court Justices. Prominent guest speakers such as Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and countless heads of state and foreign dignitaries have come to campus to meet with our students. Plus, we offer a semester in Washington DC program and countless opportunities to study abroad.
